These terms cover the website only

These terms cover browsing this website and using its forms. They are not a contract for website design, development, hosting or maintenance services. Client work is governed by a separate written Client Service Agreement that both parties sign before work begins. If anything on this website conflicts with a signed Client Service Agreement, the agreement applies.

Quotes, plans and prices

Submitting a request or contact form does not create an obligation for either party. The plans and prices on this website summarise what is normally offered. The exact scope, price, timeline and payment terms for a project are confirmed in writing before work starts. Prices are in US dollars and do not include any applicable sales tax.

Ownership of client websites (summary)

Under the Client Service Agreement, clients keep ownership of their domain names and the content they supply. Once all amounts due for the work are paid in full, clients receive transferable copies of the website files they paid for. Some parts of a website may be provided by third parties (for example fonts, tools or hosting services) under their own licences, and any such limitations are explained to the client in writing. The Client Service Agreement contains the full terms.

Demonstration projects

Projects labelled “Demo concept” are design demonstrations for fictional businesses and are not client work. Client projects, when shown, are displayed with the client’s permission. Client names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Website content and intellectual property

The content on this website is provided for general information and may change without notice. Unless stated otherwise, the design, text and graphics of this website belong to Raincrest Studio. You may view and share links to the website, but may not copy or reuse its content without permission.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the website, for example by sending spam or automated submissions, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or interfering with its operation.

Links to external websites (such as live client websites) are provided for convenience. Their content is not controlled here.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability
